RECORDS & APPAREL

We created Turkey & Pistols inspired by classic album covers, gig posters and venue marquees. As designers and musicians we dreamed of sharing our art and our love of music with the rest of world. A space where art & music combined into a unique shopping experience and where creativity is celebrated.

Our name came from an early roadtrip and the classic John Prine song "Christmas in Prison". It's a long story, but he's our creative hero and a true independent spirit. 

All our apparel is proudly designed & printed right here on Cowboy Trail. Featuring the art and design of owner & operator Rob Sawchuk, a local Métis artist and storyteller. Everything in our shop is created small batch, in house, and one at a time.
